Our Story
Century was started in 1997 and quickly developed a reputation for providing a first-class service and delivering value for money. Commitment, attention to detail and sheer hard work saw us become a limited company in 2001. At that time our product range was limited to Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarms. 2005 saw us handle our first barrier installation and it was at this point that it became clear there was a gap in the market for professional service providers in this growing marketplace.
We moved quickly to fill this gap by recruiting trained automation specialists who worked to identify UK suppliers that offered robust, high-quality products built to our exacting specification and delivered excellent service. These automation specialists also guided the company through Gate Safe, ADIA and DHF accreditations, firmly establishing us as highly competent professionals with a focus on safety.
Today, gate and barrier installations make up 50% of our turnover, which is how Century Gates and Barriers was born. We feel this distinguishes us as specialists in this field and demonstrates our commitment to continuing to grow this aspect of our business working with a broad range of clients and delivering optimum gate and barrier solutions and world-class ongoing service and support.
